I would like to personally express my gratitude by saying “Thank You” to each of the following artists, and share with you my list of country music influences.

Included are: Alabama, Bellamy Brothers, Billy Dean, Buck Owens, The Charlie Daniels Band, Chris LeDoux, Clint Black, Conway Twitty, David Frizzell, Don Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks, George Jones, Glen Campbell, Hank Williams Jr., Jerry Reed, John Anderson, John Conlee, John Denver, Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Keith Whitley, Kris Kristofferson, Mark Chesnutt, Marty Robbins, The Mavericks, Merle Haggard, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Oak Ridge Boys, Randy Travis, Ronnie Milsap, Roy Clark, Sawyer Brown, Shenandoah, The Statler Brothers, Tom T. Hall, Travis Tritt, Waylon Jennings.

When it comes to country music specifically, every single artists listed above played an essential part in helping to shape me (layer on top of layer) into the person I am today.  If you stand back and observe my personal pyramid from afar, it is those people and their music that has been holding up residence over on the country music side of my triangle shaped abode for many years.
